Beech Ward at Scarborough Hospital

Beech Ward at Scarborough Hospital is looking for a compassionate, motivated Band 4 Nursing Associate to join our dynamic multidisciplinary team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a vital role in delivering high-quality, person-centred care to cardio-respiratory patients.

Role Overview

As a Nursing Associate, you’ll work closely with Registered Nurses and the wider clinical team, to ensure safe, effective, and dignified care. You’ll be part of a supportive environment where your professional development is valued and encouraged.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing high-quality, evidence-based care to patients requiring enhanced levels of support.
  • Carrying out a range of clinical duties within your scope of practice, including observations, basic assessments, and supporting care plans.
  • Contributing to a safe and therapeutic environment for patients with complex physical or cognitive needs.
  • Working collaboratively with Registered Nurses, HCSWs, AHPs, and medical staff.
  • Supporting patients and families with clear communication, empathy, and professionalism.
  • Maintaining accurate documentation and contributing to multidisciplinary discussions.
  • Upholding Trust values and promoting a culture of safety, respect, and continuous improvement.
