We are looking for an enthusiastic new team member to join our elective orthopaedic ward at Chorley hospital.
We are looking for a qualified Assistant Practitioner / Nursing Associate, who has a passion for providing high quality patient focused care for our orthopaedic patients who have a flexible attitude towards work and a desire for new challenges. You must already hold the qualification as this is not a training role.
You will gain valuable experience & will develop wound assessment knowledge and wound care management skills. Pre & Post operative care knowledge & skills. These skills are transferable to any area of your nursing career.
General duties will include pre & post-operative care, physiological observations and investigations. You will develop an in-depth knowledge of wound management, drain and fluid balance management and provide personal care to patients.

As a Band 4 you will receive direct support from senior nursing colleagues to develop and enhance your skills. Enabling you to nurse a cohort of patients and be responsible for their care.
