Are you an experienced Registered Home Manager looking for your next leadership opportunity?

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established nursing care provider for an exceptional Home Manager to lead a highly regarded nursing home in Newcastle upon Tyne. This is an exciting opportunity to take the reins of a service that has achieved an Outstanding rating and is recognised for delivering exceptional, person-centred care.

This role would suit an experienced leader who is passionate about maintaining excellence, supporting their team and ensuring residents receive the highest standard of care every day.

The Role

As the Registered Home Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the leadership, performance and day-to-day management of the home, ensuring it continues to provide outstanding care within a safe, welcoming and supportive environment.

You will:

  • Lead and inspire a dedicated multidisciplinary team.
  • Maintain the home's Outstanding standards and drive continuous improvement.
  • Ensure full compliance with CQC regulations and all statutory requirements.
  • Promote a positive, person-centred culture focused on dignity, respect and independence.
  • Manage occupancy, staffing, budgets and overall service performance.
  • Build strong relationships with residents, families, healthcare professionals and external stakeholders.
  • Support, coach and develop your team to achieve their full potential.
  • Drive quality, governance and excellent clinical outcomes throughout the service.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Previous experience as a Registered Home Manager within a nursing care setting.
  • A proven track record of achieving and maintaining high CQC standards.
  • A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
  • Strong leadership, communication and people management skills.
  • Experience managing budgets, occupancy and regulatory compliance.
  • A proactive approach with a genuine passion for delivering exceptional care.
  • A current NMC Pin is desirable but not essential (depending on the provider's registration requirements).
