Nurture Teaching Assistant - Autism & Complex Needs
Location: Disley, Stockport
Rate: £92.63-£114 per day
Contract: Full-time, Temp-to-Perm
Start: ASAP
Looking for a SEND role where your support can genuinely change a young person's day?
We're looking for an experienced Nurture Teaching Assistant to provide dedicated support to a pupil with Autism and complex SEND in a specialist school in Disley, Stockport.
This is a role for someone who understands that progress isn't always about completing more work. Sometimes it starts with building trust, creating consistency and helping a young person feel safe enough to engage.

What you'll be doing
Your day will involve providing consistent 1:1 support and adapting your approach around the pupil's individual needs.
You'll work alongside teaching staff and the wider SEND team, supporting learning, communication, independence and emotional wellbeing.

About You
We're looking for someone with previous experience as a SEND TA, Teaching Assistant, LSA or HLTA, ideally with experience supporting Autism and/or complex SEND.
You'll be calm, patient and consistent, with the ability to build a genuine relationship with a pupil and understand that every young person responds differently.
