Role Description
The Nutrition Coach – Freelance role is a part-time, remote position focused on supporting clients in achieving sustainable health and wellness goals. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

The Nutrition Coach will collaborate with therapists and other wellness professionals to ensure integrated care, track client progress, and adjust plans based on individual needs and cultural preferences. The role also involves educating clients on evidence-based nutrition principles, promoting healthy habits, and documenting sessions in line with TherapyMantra’s standards and confidentiality guidelines.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Nutrition and Dietetics, including evidence-based dietary guidelines and diverse dietary patterns.
- Experience in Nutritional Counseling, with the ability to conduct assessments and develop individualized nutrition plans.
- Expertise in Health & Wellness coaching, focusing on behavior change, lifestyle modification, and holistic well-being.
- Skills in Weight Management strategies, including goal setting, progress monitoring, and motivational support.
- Relevant certification or degree in nutrition, dietetics, or a related health field (licensed or registered status preferred where applicable).
- Comfort with remote work, digital communication tools, and maintaining accurate, confidential client records.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a compassionate, non-judgmental, and culturally sensitive approach.
- Prior experience in telehealth, mental health settings, or multidisciplinary care teams is an advantage.
