Elior Support Services – The People Behind Every Plate
Elior UK is looking for a passionate and detail-focused Nutritionist to join our Education division, supporting primary, secondary, SEND schools, and colleges.
You’ll be part of a wider community of Dietitians and Nutritionists, working alongside experienced colleagues to provide specialist nutritional support across our education sites. This is a varied role where you’ll have the opportunity to make a real difference to children’s health and wellbeing, particularly supporting those with food allergies, intolerances and medical conditions requiring tailored menus.
This is a field-based role, so you’ll need to be flexible and able to travel to our Education sites as required.

What you’ll be serving up…
- Writing medical diet menus for children across primary and SEND school sites.
- Working closely with our Development Chefs to develop suitable medical diet recipes.
- Liaising with parents, healthcare professionals and schools regarding children requiring medical diets.
- Supporting our Marketing team with nutrition fact sheets, presentations and customer-facing content.
- Supporting the Dietitian with projects including menu coding to highlight nutritional benefits.
- Providing nutritional support to our Education operations teams via email, phone and site visits when required.
- Delivering added-value activities in schools, including interactive healthy eating presentations and pop-ups.
- Attending parents’ evenings and open days when required.
- Working as part of our wider nutrition community, sharing best practice and contributing to projects and ongoing professional development.

The ingredients you’ll bring…
- A minimum BSc degree in Nutrition.
- Knowledge of food allergies and intolerances.
- Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent IT skills and confidence managing busy inboxes.
- The ability to keep up to date with current research and relevant legislation.
- Experience using a menu management system would be desirable, but isn’t essential.
- A genuine interest in supporting children and helping schools provide safe, suitable and nutritious food.
