We are looking for an O&M Engineer to join our growing Operations & Maintenance team at Photon Energy Ltd. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and troubleshooting renewable energy systems, helping to ensure optimal performance and excellent service for our clients.

Qualifications:

  • 2382-22 Level 3 Award in the Requirements for Electrical Installations BS 7671:2018 or higher
  • BTEC Level 4 or higher in Electrical or Electronic Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
  • Excellent technical knowledge of solar PV and electrical installations
  • Experience with installation or maintenance of solar PV systems
  • Proficient knowledge of MS Office and AutoCAD

  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance inspections on site-based systems and equipment.
  • Attend and resolve reactive maintenance issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Conduct initial inspections and surveys of new installations and systems.
  • Complete remedial works identified during inspections and maintenance visits.
  • Prepare clear and accurate site reports following maintenance activities.
  • Compile and maintain site documentation and maintenance packs for scheduled visits.
  • Liaise with internal teams to obtain quotations and pricing for recommended works.
  • Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and colleagues to ensure works are completed smoothly and efficiently.
  • Schedule and manage maintenance activities to meet deadlines and client requirements.
  • Ensure all work is completed in accordance with company Quality Assurance processes and Health & Safety procedures.
