Obesity Specialist Dietitian - Remote
We’re looking for a passionate Obesity Specialist Dietitian to join Phlo and make a meaningful difference to patients on their weight management journey. You’ll deliver evidence-based, patient-centred dietetic care through 1:1 and group interventions, while helping to shape the clinical guidelines, educational resources and ways of working that underpin our growing weight management service.

You’ll thrive in a fast-paced, digital-first environment where you can have real impact, working closely with our Product, Marketing, UX, Clinical and Patient Care teams to continually improve the experience and outcomes we deliver for patients.
Reporting to the Clinical Services Manager, you’ll combine hands-on patient care with the opportunity to influence how our service evolves and help more people take control of their health.
The Job
On a day-to-day basis, you'll be involved in the following:
- Providing 1:1 and group dietetic consultations via video, telephone and messaging
- Helping to design, create and update dietetic training, protocols and guidelines and patient-facing content such as nutrition guides, meal plans, recipes, webinars and videos, including helping to train and clinically review our patient contact system
- Delivering and maintaining evidence-based diet and lifestyle guidance to support patient outcomes
- Responding to patient queries in collaboration with the Patient Care Team
- Supporting our Product and UX teams by providing insights to improve the coach - patient experience
- Driving clinical governance and service improvement by identifying and resolving patient safety risks and gathering patient feedback to identify service gaps and suggest improvements
- Participating in internal training initiatives to improve the team’s knowledge of diet and lifestyle interventions

Ideally, we're looking for someone with the following:
- HCPC-registered Dietitian (essential)
- Specialist in obesity and weight management and holding or working towards SCOPE certification
- Confident carrying out evidence-based dietetic assessments and creating personalised, patient-centred plans
- Experience promoting behaviour change through 1:1 consultations and group education
- Comfortable delivering care and monitoring progress using online platforms and digital tools
- Experience working in a remote setting, confidently building rapport and delivering care to patients virtually
- A collaborative communicator who works well with cross-functional teams (clinical, pharmacy and digital)
- Keen to contribute to clinical guidelines, educational content and wider service improvement
- Passionate about sharing knowledge and upskilling colleagues
- Exposure to a start-up / scale-up environment is advantageous
