Clarity Occupational Health provides high-quality, responsive occupational health services to organisations throughout the UK. We help employers manage employee health, wellbeing, sickness absence, and workplace risk through practical, professional, and client-focused clinical support.
As our business continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced Occupational Health Advisor to join our clinical team and support clients across Oxfordshire/Northamptonshire and the surrounding area.
The Role
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Occupational Health Advisor to deliver a predominantly case-management-focused service, with a blend of remote working and attendance at local client sites. You will manage a varied portfolio of management referrals, providing concise, clinically sound, and commercially focused advice to clients. You will be supported by an experienced wider clinical and operational team while having the autonomy to manage your own workload effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Undertake up to six management and sickness-absence referrals per day, in line with company protocols and occupational health best practice
- Carry out remote and face-to-face occupational health assessments as required
- Provide high-quality, concise, and directive management reports within agreed service-level timescales
- Advise managers, HR teams, and employees on fitness for work, return-to-work plans, workplace adjustments, rehabilitation, alternative duties, and disability in the workplace
- Support clients in managing employee health concerns, reducing absence, and promoting sustainable attendance at work
- Attend local client sites to provide occupational health support where required
- Contribute to workplace wellbeing and health-promotion initiatives
- Escalate complex clinical matters and liaise with senior clinicians when appropriate
- Maintain accurate, confidential clinical records in accordance with GDPR, professional standards, clinical governance, and company policy
- Keep up to date with relevant occupational health legislation, guidance, and industry best practice

Experience and Qualifications
- Registered Nurse with a current NMC registration
- Occupational Health qualification at Diploma or Degree level, or equivalent demonstrable occupational health experience
- Proven experience of occupational health case management, including management referrals and sickness-absence assessments
- Strong report-writing skills, with the ability to provide practical and balanced clinical recommendations
- Excellent verbal communication, interpersonal, and client-service skills
- Ability to work independently, prioritise workload, and manage a busy caseload effectively
- Comfortable working remotely as well as at client locations
- Full UK driving licence, with willingness to travel across the Oxfordshire/Northamptonshire area

What We Offer
- £44,000–£48,000 salary, dependent on experience
