Take Your Occupational Health Expertise Across the Midlands

Tetra Tech is seeking an experienced Occupational Health Advisor to deliver proactive, high-quality occupational health services across client sites in Nottingham, Derby and Leicester.

Purpose and Scope of the Role

This permanent, peripatetic role will see you provide occupational health support across a regional client portfolio, delivering case management, health surveillance, health screening and health promotion services.

You will work closely with employees, managers, client representatives and the wider clinical team to support safe, healthy and productive workplaces. As part of a multidisciplinary team of nurses, doctors, technicians and advisors, you will advise on fitness for work, absence management, workplace adjustments and employee assistance programmes.

The team prioritises quality over volume, with case management assessments limited to six per day to support robust clinical standards, manageable workloads and long-term colleague wellbeing.

Your Impact in this Position

From day one, you will help clients manage workplace health risks, support employees with practical, evidence-based advice and ensure occupational health activity is delivered in line with relevant legislation.

As you build relationships across the Midlands, you will contribute to preventative health strategies, strengthen service delivery and support continuous improvement. You will join a collaborative environment built on trust, respect and shared success, with ongoing support for professional development and maintaining NMC registration.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
