About The Opportunity

Are you an experienced people leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same?

We're looking for an experienced Occupational Health Business Manager to join our Occupational Health management team and play a vital role in providing Occupational Health Service to the people who protect our communities.

This is more than a management role. It is an opportunity to lead a high-performing team, influence strategic decision-making, drive continuous improvement and help shape the future delivery of Occupational Health services across both Staffordshire Police and Staffordshire Fire & Rescue Service.

We're looking for someone who will bring fresh thinking, challenge current ways of working where appropriate, identify opportunities for continuous improvement, and help shape an even more effective and efficient service.

If you're passionate about developing people, using data to improve performance, challenging the status quo and delivering excellent customer-focused services, we want to hear from you.

The Role

As the Occupational Health Business Manager, you will lead the business management function of Occupational Health, ensuring effective operational delivery alongside strategic planning, governance and performance management.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
