Job Title: Occupational Hygiene Consultant
Location: Bristol, Somerset
Salary/Benefits: £27k - £40k + Training & Benefits
A multi-disciplined compliance consultancy is recruiting for an experienced and thorough Occupational Hygiene Consultant to join their team. The ideal candidate will be eloquent and confident in communicating technical advice directly to clients. You will be working across a diverse range of client contracts, including: commercial, manufacturing, and public sector, based in the South West of England.
Our client is privately owned, with a friendly feel and busy client base. They are able to offer competitive salaries and usual benefits packages (including company vehicle and fuel expenses).

Experience / Qualifications:
- Experience working as an Occupational Hygiene Consultant
- Must hold industry qualifications, including: W201, W503, W506, and/or W507
- It would support applications to hold BOHS P600, P601, and/or P602
- Robust technical knowledge
- Excellent communicator
- Good literacy, numeracy, and IT skills
- Able to prioritise your own workload
The Role:
- Performing inspections, testing, sampling, and risk assessments across client premises
- LEV testing and analysis
- Identifying risk levels for: noise, vibration, dust, fume, and air quality
- Carrying out COSHH assessments
- Collecting samples and storing safely
- Producing bespoke technical reports to identify risks and make appropriate recommendations
- Acting as a key contact for clients, answering technical and logistical questions
- Adhering to safety guidelines
- Completing works within agreed deadlines
- Fostering strong professional relationships with clients
