Job Title: Occupational Hygiene Consultant
Location: Bath, Somerset
Salary/Benefits: £27k - £40k + Training & Benefits
Due to continued company growth, a multi-disciplined Environmental Consultancy is seeking a switched-on Occupational Hygiene Consultant. You will be an integral part of their team in the South West of England, supporting the growth of their LEV and Air Quality contracts.
We are seeking someone with strong technical knowledge, who is able to operate independently on site. You will be conducting assessments, testing and sampling and producing detailed technical recommendations and advice. Experience / Qualifications:
- Proven track record working as an Occupational Hygiene Consultant
- Will hold the BOHS P601 as a minimum
- Ideally will be qualified with occupational modules (W503, 201, 502, 504, 506 and / or 507)
- Strong technical knowledge
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills
The Role:
- Carrying out risk assessments, sampling, testing and inspections to assess noise, vibration, dust, fume and air quality
- Sampling for air quality and monitoring client sites
- Conducting COSHH assessments
- Correctly logging and storing samples
- Producing detailed technical reports
- Highlighting found risks to clients and making tailored recommendations
- Calibrating and maintaining equipment
- Maintaining strong working relationships with clients
- Adhering to personal targets
