What the role involves
We are growing our Acoustics, Vibration and Occupational Hygiene (AVOH) technical services in the UK and are now looking to recruit a Consultant to join our team of experts. The team provide customers throughout the UK and Europe with Occupational Hygiene consultancy services.
Our team, spread through the UK, manage projects across many sectors and include workplace air monitoring, indoor air quality assessments, consultancy services and local exhaust ventilation monitoring. The wider AVOH team also get involved with environmental noise and vibration assessments, noise modelling, detailed noise control studies, building acoustic services and workplace noise and vibration. As such there is a significant opportunity to expand your skills and expertise across all disciplines of the team.

Responsibilities involve
- Undertake site visits to complete relevant survey work.
- Support the delivery of projects on time and to budget; to manage personal resources and time
- To follow all financial procedures in the delivery of projects
- Draft technical consultancy documents.
- Marketing the relevant services of the company
- Keep abreast of current legislation, relevant national and international standards and guidelines and technical developments within the relevant field.
- Conduct research, collection, and interpretation of technical data.
- Measurement, prediction, and analysis of assessments
- Be exemplar in client management and relationship building.
Who we are looking for
- Ambitious Consultant who is looking to further their career within Occupational Hygiene consultancy.
- Educated to degree or post graduate level in Occupational Hygiene and or a relevant science or engineering discipline.
- Have at least 2 years professional experience in Occupational Hygiene
- We are looking for a problem solver who is comfortable formulating novel and bespoke solutions, whilst working to relevant legislation.
- You will have strong analytical skills, and a positive approach to the challenges of change.
- You will need strong people skills with the ability to build strong relationships internally and externally.
- Strong report writing skills are essential and ability to work on multiple projects at a time
- Full UK driving license
