Overview
Element are currently seeking Occupational Hygienists to join our growing team in one of the largest Occupational Hygiene consultancies in the UK. This role will offer considerable opportunity for the right person to develop and contribute to a critical area of a fast growing business.
Our main base is Stockport however, location is flexible as this is intended to be a home based role covering the UK and possibly international locations. The role will involve undertaking contract work on client facilities to assess and control occupational hygiene risks.
Responsibilities
- Carrying out a range of tests, including as a minimum, Workplace Air Monitoring, Workplace Noise Assessment, LEV Examination & Testing
- Liaising with clients on contracts, including travel to customer sites for inductions, site work and review meetings
- Complying with Element's accredited Quality Management System
- Producing high quality and detailed technical occupational hygiene reports
Skills / Qualifications
- Broad understanding of the Occupational Hygiene industry with practical experience in consultancy
- BOHS or IOA Qualifications in one or more of the Core World Modules (W501, W503, W505, W507, or P601 LEV Proficiency)
- Desirable if experienced in Hand Arm + Whole Body Vibration Assessments, COSHH Risk Assessments, Legionella Risk Assessments, EMF Assessments, Environmental Noise
- Full driving licence is essential as the role will involve UK wide travel - A car allowance or company vehicle will be provided

Who we are looking for:
- Highly self-motivated and organised individual with a flexible approach to work, accommodating to overnight stays
- Capable of managing own workloads to defined timescales
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with good attention to detail
- Aiming to progress and develop in an exciting and supportive team to CertOH LFOH grade or higher
