Are you passionate about empowering young people to thrive as they transition into adulthood?

We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Paediatric Occupational Therapist to join our Paediatric OT Team, with a dedicated focus on Preparation for Adulthood (PfA).

This is a part-time post of 25 hours. Although you will be based in Dorchester, the role will involve working with children and young people across the Dorset Council area.

This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children and young people with additional needs, helping them build the skills, confidence, and independence they need for adult life.

This role sits within the birth to settled adulthood (B2SA) service which supports children and young people aged 0-25 who are disabled or have complex needs to ensure their needs are met in a holistic way and that they are well prepared and supported as they move into adulthood.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
