Occupational Therapist Opportunity at Ambitious about Autism's Spring School
We are looking for a passionate and skilled Occupational Therapist to join the multidisciplinary team at Ambitious about Autism's Spring School.
This is a fantastic opportunity to use your occupational therapy expertise within a specialist education environment, supporting autistic children and young people to overcome barriers to learning, independence and wellbeing.
About the Role
Working closely with education colleagues, families and other professionals, you will provide high-quality occupational therapy support across universal, targeted and intensive levels. You will assess individual needs, develop and deliver individual and group intervention programmes, and contribute to achieving outcomes identified within Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).
Requirements
We are looking for someone who:
- Holds a BSc or equivalent qualification in Occupational Therapy
- Is HCPC registered
- Has experience of working with autistic children and young people
- Can design and implement effective intervention programmes and support colleagues to deliver them consistently
- Is confident working autonomously while contributing to the continued development of the OT service and the Ambitious approach
- Is reflective, open to feedback and committed to continuous professional development
- Takes a compassionate, person-centred and collaborative approach

Ambitious about Autism is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and successful candidates will be subject to an Enhanced DBS check. As part of our Safer Recruitment checks, an online search maybe carried out in line with Keeping Children Safe in Education.
