Looking for an Occupational Therapy role where you can grow your clinical skills, work as part of a supportive multi-disciplinary team and make a genuine difference every day?

Momenta Connect is an innovative, award-winning and growing practice. We’re looking for ambitious Occupational Therapists who want to develop their clinical expertise, feel supported by a friendly multi-disciplinary team and make a meaningful difference to children and young people.

You’ll have flexibility, development, protected admin time and wellbeing support, including a trial of 10% protected rest time every day.

Job Title: Occupational Therapist

Location: Sunderland Salary: Up to £50,000 FTE, pro rata, dependent on experience Hours: Part Time - 22.5 hours per week (3 days) Contract: Permanent, with 52-weeks or our summer contract offers five weeks off during the summer break plus 22 days’ annual leave. (pro rata)

About The Role

You’ll work mainly in school settings, with some clinic-based and remote opportunities where appropriate. As an Occupational Therapist, you’ll help unlock children and young people’s potential by assessing EHCP-related needs, delivering specialist interventions and supporting therapy goals to become part of everyday life.

In This Role, You’ll

  • Assess children and young people’s developmental and learning needs, including those linked to Education, Health and Care Plans.
  • Develop, deliver and review individualised occupational therapy intervention plans.
  • Work with parents, carers, teaching teams and multi-disciplinary colleagues to embed therapy goals into daily life.
  • Equip key adults with practical strategies, evaluate impact, maintain accurate documentation and contribute to multi-disciplinary meetings.

It’s a varied role where you’ll balance assessment, intervention, consultation and collaboration, while making a visible difference to children, families and school teams every day.

What You’ll Need

  • HCPC and RCOT registration
  • Undergraduate or Masters degree in Occupational Therapy

It would be great if you also bring

  • Paediatric occupational therapy experience, ideally in school-based or specialist settings
  • Experience completing assessments for Education, Health and Care Plans
  • Experience supporting children and young people with SEMH, complex or developmental needs
  • Specialist CPD, trauma-informed practice or other relevant training
