Are you a passionate Occupational Therapist looking to make a genuine difference in the lives of autistic children and young people?
We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established specialist education provider for a Qualified Occupational Therapist to join a friendly and experienced multidisciplinary therapy team. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a specialist educational environment, supporting autistic pupils aged 4–19 with associated learning disabilities while developing your expertise through extensive funded training and professional development.
About the Role
Working within a small team of qualified Occupational Therapists, Speech & Language Therapists, and Therapy Assistants, you will provide specialist direct and indirect therapy interventions tailored to individual pupil needs.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Delivering direct and indirect Occupational Therapy interventions
- Supporting motor and perceptual skill development
- Developing functional life skills and independence
- Assessing and supporting sensory processing needs
- Promoting emotional regulation and wellbeing
- Delivering individual, group, and integrated therapy programmes
- Working collaboratively with education and therapy professionals to achieve positive outcomes for pupils

About You
We're looking for someone who has:
- A recognised Occupational Therapy degree/qualification
- Current HCPC registration
- Membership of the Royal College of Occupational Therapists (RCOT)
- Knowledge of autism and Special Educational Needs (SEN)
- A confident, caring, and proactive approach
- Ideally 1–2 years' experience as an Occupational Therapist, particularly within paediatric, SEN, or educational settings
