Part Time Occupational Therapist
We are currently looking to recruit a part-time Occupational Therapist to join our Occupational Therapy team.
About the Role
You will be reporting to the Advanced Practitioner, and you will be responsible for carrying out assessments to identify needs and agree on action plans to meet the needs, taking into account current eligibility criteria. This will include recommending relevant major adaptations in line with current legislation and local processes.
Key Responsibilities

- Promote the safe use of equipment, including specialist equipment.
- Promote and maintain good inter-agency working partnerships.
- Help to deliver excellent services to the residents of Bedford Borough.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Hold a degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent.
- Registration with HCPC.
- Good communication skills.
- Extensive experience of completing assessments for major adaptations.
- Ability to work autonomously, as part of a team, as well as in multi-agency working to ensure that the health and wellbeing of adults in Bedford Borough are paramount to service delivery.

- This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.
