Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Occupational Therapist role based in London Colney. The Occupational Therapist will assess service users’ physical, cognitive, and psychosocial needs, and develop individualized treatment plans to improve daily functioning and independence.

Day-to-day Responsibilities

- Delivering therapeutic interventions
- Monitoring progress
- Updating clinical documentation
- Collaborating with medical, nursing, and rehabilitation staff
The role involves working with a range of age groups, including pediatric and adult populations, providing education and support to individuals, families, and caregivers. The Occupational Therapist will also participate in multidisciplinary meetings, contribute to service development, and ensure practice aligns with current clinical guidelines and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Occupational Therapy and Rehabilitation, with the ability to design and implement evidence-based intervention plans.
- Knowledge of Medicine and related clinical concepts to work effectively within multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Effective Communication skills for engaging with service users, families, caregivers, and professional colleagues.
- Experience or interest in Pediatrics, including assessment and intervention for children and young people.
- Relevant professional qualification in Occupational Therapy and current registration with the appropriate regulatory body (e.g., HCPC or equivalent).
- Experience in clinical or community-based settings, with sound clinical reasoning and assessment skills.
- Ability to manage a caseload, prioritize tasks, and maintain accurate and timely documentation.
- Commitment to person-centered care, safeguarding, and equality, diversity, and inclusion principles.
