Neurodevelopmental Assessment | Multidisciplinary Working | Flexible Hours | Meaningful Family Impact

Use your paediatric OT expertise to shape better diagnostic outcomes as a CYP Occupational Therapist. This Occupational Therapist Assessor role focuses on understanding how sensory processing and functional needs affect children's everyday lives.

You will have clinical autonomy within a supportive MDT, with full-time or part-time options and agreed hybrid working. As a CYP Occupational Therapist, your professional judgement will directly inform evidence-based decisions.

Package & Benefits

  • £45,000 to £50,000 per annum, depending on experience.
  • Permanent full-time or part-time hours, Monday to Friday.
  • Agreed hybrid working for suitable pathway activity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Complete specialist functional and sensory assessments within autism and ADHD pathways.
  • Gather evidence from families, education settings and clinical records.
  • Contribute CYP Occupational Therapist expertise to MDT diagnostic decisions.
  • Produce clear reports and practical, neurodiversity-affirming recommendations.

About You

  • Current HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Significant post-qualification experience within paediatrics, CAMHS or neurodevelopmental services.
  • Experience completing functional or sensory assessments within CYP pathways.
