Occupational Therapist – Paediatric / Schools

Location: Hillingdon, Uxbridge & Isleworth, London
Salary: Up to £40,250 DOE
Hours: 37.5 hours, Monday–Friday
Contract: Permanent

Description

Service Care Solutions are recruiting for an enthusiastic Occupational Therapist to join a growing multidisciplinary team supporting children and young people across mainstream school settings.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced paediatric OT, or an OT looking to move into paediatrics, with a structured training programme available to help develop your skills. You’ll work closely with schools, families and professionals to deliver practical, child-centred interventions that make a genuine difference.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver targeted OT interventions and develop individual therapy programmes.
  • Complete assessments using appropriate standardised and non-standardised tools.
  • Support SENCOs and school staff with universal strategies and practical approaches.
  • Develop pupil-centred intervention plans and evaluate outcomes.
  • Provide advice, guidance and training to school staff, parents and carers.
  • Attend case discussions, school meetings and EHCP reviews where appropriate.
  • Manage a defined caseload and maintain accurate clinical records.
  • Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Support and supervise junior staff, assistants or students where required.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
