Liquid Personnel is recruiting an experienced Occupational Therapist

Liquid Personnel is recruiting an experienced Occupational Therapist for its client's Adult Social Care service based in Flintshire. This is a full-time agency role offering £25.39 per hour, supporting adults and carers to maximise independence, reduce barriers to daily living, and achieve positive outcomes within their homes and local communities.

Your duties and responsibilities

  • Complete occupational therapy assessments for adults within their own homes and communities
  • Manage a complex caseload and develop person-centred intervention plans
  • Undertake minor and major adaptations assessments
  • Carry out manual handling assessments and moving and handling recommendations
  • Assess seating, posture, environmental needs, and specialist equipment requirements
  • Arrange and monitor equipment provision to support independence and safety
  • Apply strengths-based practice and positive risk-taking approaches
  • Conduct rehousing assessments where property adaptations are not feasible
  • Work collaboratively with health professionals, housing services, social care teams, and third-sector organisations
  • Maintain accurate records, reports, and assessment documentation
  • Support carers and service users with advice, guidance, and practical solutions

Qualifications and Experience

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Current HCPC registration
  • Experience working with adults in community or social care settings
  • Significant experience completing adaptation assessments, including major adaptations
  • Knowledge of manual handling principles and equipment provision
  • Experience undertaking home-based occupational therapy assessments
  • Strong communication, organisational, and IT skills
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and work independently
  • Full UK driving licence and access to your own transport for county-wide visits
