Job Opportunity: Occupational Therapist

Liquid Personnel is recruiting an experienced Occupational Therapist to join its client’s Haverhill Area Integrated Team within Adult Social Care. This is a full-time agency role offering £35 per hour and an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive community-based service, helping adults maintain their independence and improve their quality of life.

As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will manage a varied Adult Social Care caseload, carrying out functional assessments, recommending equipment and adaptations, supporting reablement interventions, and working closely with health and social care partners to deliver positive outcomes for residents across the local community.

The role offers a flexible hybrid working arrangement, with an expectation of approximately 2 days per week in the office and the remainder based remotely or within the community.

Responsibilities

  • Managing a diverse and increasingly complex Adult Social Care Occupational Therapy caseload
  • Completing strengths-based and person-centred assessments with adults and carers
  • Conducting functional assessments to promote independence and wellbeing
  • Responding to urgent moving and handling referrals
  • Developing, implementing, and reviewing reablement plans
  • Setting goals and outcomes collaboratively with service users and carers
  • Recommending equipment, adaptations, and alternative techniques to support daily living
  • Completing assessments for major and minor adaptations
  • Assessing Community Equipment Service (CES) requirements
  • Liaising with housing providers and home improvement agencies
  • Identifying specialist equipment needs and ensuring best-value solutions
  • Working closely with health professionals, voluntary organisations, and partner agencies
  • Maintaining accurate records, reports, and recommendations
  • Applying Care Act legislation and Adult Social Care best practice
  • Providing professional Occupational Therapy advice and guidance to colleagues where required

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
