We are currently seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our Residential Aged Care team. This is a shared role across our Guildford Village and Midland Nursing Home facilities. You will be led by a supportive management team and work closely with a team of like-minded individuals at the facility who share common goals.

Responsibilities And Duties
- Assess residents' Occupational Therapy needs and identify opportunities to maximise independence.
- Develop and implement person-centred therapy plans and interventions.
- Review and evaluate care plans to ensure positive resident outcomes.
- Monitor resident progress and measure the effectiveness of interventions.
- Support residents with behaviours of concern and maintain associated documentation.
- Collaborate with care teams to deliver high-quality, holistic resident care.
Skills, Attributes And Experience
The ideal candidate will pride themselves on their ability to build and deliver person-centered care that values the choice of the client. They will have the people skills to build and maintain meaningful, lasting relationships with their clients. They will also demonstrate a commitment to being a productive and positive team player at the facility, and in creating a homely, healthy and happy atmosphere.
Key Criteria Includes:
- Holding a relevant tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy
- Registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist
- Previous experience working within residential aged care will be highly regarded but is not essential
- Experience in behavioural support and dementia care highly regarded
