Active Pathways is seeking a motivated and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary rehabilitation team. We are interested in applications from experienced Band 5 Occupational Therapists looking for their next career step, as well as established Band 6 Occupational Therapists who can demonstrate established clinical skills and leadership capability.
This is an exciting opportunity to work within a specialist residential, and supported living settings, supporting individuals with complex needs to achieve meaningful recovery outcomes and maximise independence. This role will be based across four different sites in the Yorkshire region which provides a variety of practice areas and supports a varied range of individuals.
About The Role
As an Occupational Therapist, you will:
- Complete comprehensive occupational therapy assessments and interventions.
- Develop and implement person-centred rehabilitation programmes.
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to deliver outstanding clinical outcomes.
- Support service users to develop independence and achieve recovery goals.
- Contribute to discharge planning and community reintegration.
- Participate in service development and quality improvement initiatives.
- Provide supervision, support and mentorship to therapy colleagues where appropriate.
- Support student development and progression.

Essential Requirements
What We're Looking For
- Degree or Diploma in Occupational Therapy.
- Current HCPC registration.
- Experience working within rehabilitation, neurological, mental health, complex care or similar specialist services.
- Strong clinical reasoning and assessment skills.
- Excellent communication and team-working abilities.
- Commitment to person-centred care and continuous professional development.
Desirable
- Experience working within an inpatient or supported living environment.
- Previous supervision or mentoring experience.
- Evidence of service development, audit, or quality improvement work.
Salary and Appointment
We welcome applications from:
- Experienced Band 5 Occupational Therapists with the skills and ambition to work at a higher level within a specialist rehabilitation service.
- Established Band 6 Occupational Therapists able to demonstrate advanced clinical practice, professional leadership and service development experience.
The salary for this post is £34,592 - £39,000 per annum, depending on experience and demonstrated competencies.
