Occupational Therapist Role
Occupational Therapist with excellent communication skills to join Intensive Home Treatment Team in Bassetlaw.
Role Responsibilities
The post-holder will:
- Conduct OT specific assessments, formulation, and interventions.
- Work collaboratively with patients, their carers/families, and partnership organisations to develop creative, goal-oriented, time-limited occupational therapy plans.
- Perform comprehensive and dynamic risk assessments, including care planning around relapse prevention, suicidality, and safety planning.
- Support the team assessments and day-to-day management of the caseload.
- Play an integral role in supporting non-pharmacological approaches and interventions.
- Be proficient in using occupation to enhance recovery within the MDT, including participating in the role of Duty worker.
Leadership and Support
- Lead, guide, and support junior staff flexibly across the service on occasion.
- Work across a seven-day service, including bank holidays and weekends.
