Liquid Personnel is recruiting for experienced Locum Occupational Therapists

Liquid Personnel is recruiting for experienced Locum Occupational Therapists to join its client's Local Authority Adult Social Care service in Stoke-on-Trent.

This is an excellent opportunity for an OT with Adult Social Care, community or complex care experience, supporting the service to review high-cost care packages, assess functional needs and identify opportunities to maximise independence while delivering safe, proportionate care.

What will your responsibilities be?

  • Complete comprehensive Occupational Therapy and functional assessments for adults receiving home care support
  • Assess complex double-up care packages, reviewing whether current levels of support remain appropriate based on functional ability, risk and independence
  • Identify opportunities to reduce or adapt care provision safely while maintaining positive outcomes for service users
  • Complete moving and handling and functional assessments, considering appropriate equipment, techniques and levels of assistance
  • Work closely with service users, carers, care providers and wider Adult Social Care colleagues to develop proportionate support arrangements
  • Make evidence-based recommendations that promote independence and reduce unnecessary reliance on formal care
  • Manage a caseload effectively and complete assessments within required timescales
  • Maintain accurate and timely records, ensuring recommendations are clearly documented and defensible
  • Work flexibly to meet service requirements, including occasional early starts and late finishes to accommodate care calls
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to contribute towards service priorities and delivery of savings within the home care budget

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
