Job Description: Occupational Therapist

Surrey and Borders is looking for an Occupational Therapist who delivers high quality and evidence based occupational therapy assessments, interventions and consultations to enable people who access services to reach their full potential.

Location: Berkeley House, 11-13 Ockford Road, Godalming, GU7 1QU

Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday from 9am to 17pm

The occupational therapy leadership team is committed to an extensive, coordinated CPD programme including a robust supervision structure, care group meetings, Trust wide and core competence training and an annual conference. Staff is valued for their expertise in occupationally focused interventions and specialist group therapy.

This post is suitable if you have had previous experience of working in mental health, you want to consolidate your knowledge of occupational therapy and be involved in delivering high quality, evidence based, outcome measured occupational therapy interventions. This post also gives you an opportunity to develop skills in care coordinating service users with an occupational therapy focus and being part of the assessment team.

Requirements:

  • The candidate must have a full and valid driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes due to the community element of this role.
