Occupational Therapist - Paediatric Community at Lewisham

Liquid Personnel is recruiting Occupational Therapists for its clients' Paediatric Community at Lewisham for supporting children and young people with physical disabilities, complex needs, learning disabilities, and mental health challenges.

You’ll manage a varied community caseload, carrying out home-based functional assessments, recommending equipment and adaptations, and providing guidance to families, carers, and partner agencies.

What will your responsibilities be?

  • Home & community assessments for daily-living needs
  • Equipment & adaptation recommendations to promote independence
  • Training carers in safe and effective use of equipment
  • Multi-agency collaboration and onward referrals
  • Safeguarding duties within the paediatric service
  • Participation in duty rotas

Qualifications & Experience:

To be successful in this role you must have,

  • A degree in Occupational Therapy is essential.
  • You must be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
  • If you’re an experienced OT with strong paediatric or community skills, this is a rewarding opportunity to make a real impact.
