As an Occupational Therapist at Community Health Network, you will:
- Evaluate, plan, and provide therapy for disabled patients
- Establish and maintain a safe environment conducive to effective teamwork, positive patient outcomes, and personal safety
Exceptional Skills & Qualifications
To excel in this role, you must meet the following qualifications:
- Hold a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree from an accredited OT program
- Possess a valid Indiana Occupational Therapist license or temporary permit
- Preference given for candidates with previous experience in an acute care hospital setting (focused on adults)
- Demonstrated knowledge of:
- Anatomy/physiology
- Evaluation and therapy techniques
- Theoretical concepts and current advances in the field
- Strong ability to:
- Provide quality care to individuals with impairments
- Communicate effectively with staff, patients, families, physicians, and all internal/external stakeholders
- Understand the unique behavioral, developmental, physical, emotional, and comfort needs of:
- Children
- Adolescents
- Adults
- Geriatric patients
