Occupational Therapist (OT) – PRN
Orchard Post Acute
Pay Range: $60.00–$65.00 per hour, based on experience
Orchard Post Acute is seeking a compassionate and motivated Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our rehabilitation team on a PRN basis. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a supportive interdisciplinary team while helping residents regain independence and achieve their highest level of function.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate residents’ functional abilities and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide occupational therapy services in accordance with physician orders and established plans of care
- Help residents improve daily living skills, mobility, coordination, strength, and independence
- Recommend and train residents in the use of adaptive equipment and techniques
- Educate residents, families, and caregivers regarding treatment goals and safety strategies
- Accurately document evaluations, treatments, progress, and changes in condition
- Communicate resident progress and concerns to the interdisciplinary care team
- Participate in care planning and discharge planning as needed
- Follow all facility policies and applicable state and federal regulations

Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
- Current California Occupational Therapist license in good standing
- Current CPR certification
- Previous skilled nursing or long-term care experience preferred
- Strong clinical, communication, and documentation skills
- Compassionate, dependable, and committed to resident-centered care
