Occupational Therapist – Rehousing Team

Liquid Personnel is currently recruiting for an experienced Occupational Therapist to join the Rehousing Team at Manchester City.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an Occupational Therapist with experience in housing adaptations who is passionate about improving housing outcomes for adults and families across Manchester.

Working as part of a supportive team, you'll carry out home-based assessments, provide specialist housing advice, and help residents access suitable accommodation that meets their long-term needs.

The Role

As an Occupational Therapist within the Rehousing Team, you will assess individuals in their own homes to determine housing priority and recommend appropriate adaptations or rehousing solutions.

You will also play a key role in matching applicants to suitable adapted properties, attending property viewings, and producing detailed reports to support housing decisions.

This is a hybrid position, with a minimum of two office days per week and travel across Greater Manchester for home visits and property assessments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out Occupational Therapy assessments in customers' homes.
  • Assess housing needs and recommend appropriate adaptations.
  • Complete medical assessment reports to support rehousing applications.
  • Match applicants with suitable adapted properties.
  • Attend property viewings with applicants.
  • Provide expert advice on rehousing options.
  • Manage a varied caseload, including complex housing cases.
  • Work collaboratively with housing teams and partner agencies to achieve positive outcomes.
  • Support adults, children, and families to access housing that best meets their needs.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
