Band 6 Occupational Therapist – CAMHS & Eating Disorders

Cpl UK Healthcare are currently recruiting for an experienced Band 6/7 Occupational Therapist to join a specialist service in London, supporting young people with CAMHS and eating disorder presentations.
🧠 The Role
This is an excellent opportunity for an Occupational Therapist with experience in mental health or CAMHS to work within a specialist multidisciplinary environment. You will provide person-centred occupational therapy assessment and intervention, helping young people develop healthy routines, meaningful occupations, coping strategies, and greater independence throughout their recovery.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a specialist CAMHS and eating disorder OT caseload
- Complete comprehensive occupational and functional assessments
- Develop and deliver individualised treatment and rehabilitation plans
- Support young people with establishing healthy routines and meaningful activities
- Use occupation-based interventions to promote recovery and wellbeing
- Contribute to risk assessments, care planning and multidisciplinary reviews
- Work collaboratively with psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, dietitians and other professionals
- Provide therapeutic groups and individual interventions where appropriate
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and outcome measures

Requirements
- ✔️ HCPC registered Occupational Therapist
- ✔️ Experience within CAMHS, mental health or eating disorder services
- ✔️ Strong understanding of occupational therapy within a mental health setting
- ✔️ Excellent clinical reasoning and communication skills
- ✔️ Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
