Cpl UK Healthcare are currently recruiting for an experienced Band 6/7 Occupational Therapist to join a specialist service in London, supporting young people with CAMHS and eating disorder presentations.
๐ง The Role
This is an excellent opportunity for an Occupational Therapist with experience in mental health or CAMHS to work within a specialist multidisciplinary environment. You will provide person-centred occupational therapy assessment and intervention, helping young people develop healthy routines, meaningful occupations, coping strategies, and greater independence throughout their recovery.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a specialist CAMHS and eating disorder OT caseload
- Complete comprehensive occupational and functional assessments
- Develop and deliver individualised treatment and rehabilitation plans
- Support young people with establishing healthy routines and meaningful activities
- Use occupation-based interventions to promote recovery and wellbeing
- Contribute to risk assessments, care planning and multidisciplinary reviews
- Work collaboratively with psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, dietitians and other professionals
- Provide therapeutic groups and individual interventions where appropriate
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and outcome measures

Requirements
- โ๏ธ HCPC registered Occupational Therapist
- โ๏ธ Experience within CAMHS, mental health or eating disorder services
- โ๏ธ Strong understanding of occupational therapy within a mental health setting
- โ๏ธ Excellent clinical reasoning and communication skills
- โ๏ธ Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
