Priory Hospital Glasgow

Full-time | 37.5 hours per week | Site based

Up to £36,000

Job Summary

Priory Hospital Glasgow is one of the UK’s leading inpatient treatment centres, providing specialist support for mental health conditions and addictions.

We provide evidence-based treatment for a range of mental health problems, including treatment for depression, as well as alcohol and drug rehabilitation.

The successful candidate will be required to work within the Eating Disorders Unit, providing specialist support and care to individuals receiving treatment for eating disorders.

What you'll be doing

  • Assess the needs of the people we support and deliver high-quality, person-centred therapeutic interventions that promote their mental, emotional, physical, and social well-being.
  • Work closely with service users, their families, carers, and the wider multidisciplinary team to develop and deliver tailored therapy programmes that support individuals to achieve their goals and maximise their independence.
  • Respond promptly to referrals, carry out comprehensive assessments, and plan, implement, and review effective treatment programmes using a range of evidence-based therapeutic approaches and interventions.

What you'll bring to the role

Essential

  • Degree in Occupational Therapy (MSc pre-registration or BSc) and registration with HCPC
