Are you a qualified Occupational Therapist looking for a new full-time opportunity within paediatric practice? Do you have experience, or an interest in developing your skills, working with children and young people with SEND or complex needs?
Service Care Solutions are working in partnership with our esteemed client to recruit an Occupational Therapist in the Hillingdon area. The successful candidate will work mainly in school settings, with some clinic-based and remote opportunities, assessing and supporting children and young people's Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) related needs.
Our client is an innovative, award-winning and growing practice. They pride themselves on developing clinical expertise within a friendly multi-disciplinary team and offer a dedicated introduction to paediatrics programme for therapists looking to move into paediatric occupational therapy.

Up to £40,250 FTE per annum + £2,000 Welcome Bonus

Working Hours
Full Time – 37.5 Hours (Part-Time applications will also be considered)

Contract
Permanent (52-week or summer contract options available)
The post holder will work as part of a supportive multi-disciplinary team to assess, plan and deliver occupational therapy interventions that help unlock children and young people's potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess children and young people's developmental and learning needs, including those linked to Education, Health and Care Plans
- Develop, deliver and review individualised occupational therapy intervention plans
- Work with parents, carers, teaching teams and multi-disciplinary colleagues to embed therapy goals into daily life
- Equip key adults with practical strategies and evaluate their impact
- Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to multi-disciplinary meetings
- Balance assessment, intervention, consultation and collaboration to make a visible difference to children, families and school teams
Essential
- Registered with the HCPC and RCOT
- Paediatric occupational therapy experience, ideally in school-based or specialist settings
- Experience completing assessments for Education, Health and Care Plans
- Experience supporting children and young people with SEMH, complex or developmental needs
