Are you an experienced Occupational Therapist looking to enhance your leadership skills while continuing to make a meaningful impact on the lives of young people with complex disabilities?

At National Star, we're looking for an Occupational Therapy Deputy Manager to support the leadership and development of our Occupational Therapy service. This is a temporary fixed term contract to cover the next academic year.

Working closely with the Occupational Therapy Manager, you'll help ensure the delivery of high-quality, person-centred therapy that enables learners to maximise their independence, achieve their EHCP outcomes and work towards their long-term aspirations.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys combining hands-on clinical practice with team leadership, service development and mentoring others.

About the role

As Occupational Therapy Deputy Manager, you'll play a key role in the day-to-day management of the Occupational Therapy team and deputise for the Occupational Therapy Manager when required. You'll support therapists, assistants and apprentices across our sites, helping them to develop their skills and deliver outstanding support to learners.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
