Occupational Therapy Team Lead
We are looking for an Occupational Therapy Team Lead to join our inpatient rehabilitation team in Hertfordshire.
You’ll work as part of a multidisciplinary team supporting patients with multiple and complex conditions, providing highly specialised occupational therapy assessment and treatment to help patients achieve their individual rehabilitation goals.
This is a clinical leadership role for an experienced Occupational Therapist who wants to use their specialist knowledge to support patient care, develop colleagues and contribute to the wider development of occupational therapy practice.
What you'll be doing
- Provide highly specialised occupational therapy assessment and treatment using evidence-based approaches.
- Work as an active member of the multidisciplinary inpatient rehabilitation team.
- Provide expert occupational therapy advice, guidance and information to health and social care professionals, carers, relatives and other relevant individuals.
- Act as a specialist clinical resource for Occupational Therapy colleagues and other healthcare professionals across Hertfordshire.
- Support the OT Lead with service development and initiatives that strengthen integrated working with partner organisations.
- Share specialist knowledge and contribute to the development of occupational therapy practice across the service.
- Promote person-centred care and collaborative working to support safe, effective and high-quality rehabilitation.
- Contribute to a positive learning environment and support colleagues to develop their clinical knowledge and skills.

We’re looking for an Occupational Therapist with the specialist knowledge and experience to provide high-quality assessment and treatment for patients with multiple and complex conditions.
You’ll need to be able to:
- Apply evidence-based occupational therapy approaches within rehabilitation.
- Provide specialist clinical advice to colleagues and other professionals.
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Contribute to service development and integrated working.
- Share specialist knowledge and support the development of others.
- Keep the patient at the centre of your clinical decision-making and rehabilitation planning.
