SWFT Children’s Occupational Therapy Team

SWFT Children’s Occupational Therapy Team are excited to be partnering with Warwickshire ICB and Warwickshire County Council to deliver Children’s Occupational Therapy support directly to educational settings across Warwickshire.

This is a call to action under the “Expert at Hand” initiative, designed to bring specialist expertise directly into mainstream education, supporting staff and children through earlier, more integrated universal advice and targeted interventions.

Do you have experience working with children with developmental, functional or participation needs? This may include experience gained within a health, education or a social care setting.

We are looking to recruit and upskill a team of practitioners to work across the county, supporting educational settings to integrate therapeutic approaches and strategies into their wider workforce. This may involve coaching, direct training and modelling within nurseries, primary schools, secondary schools and post-16 provisions.

If you are passionate about enabling children and young people to participate, learn and thrive within their educational environment, we would love to hear from you.

Please note that these roles are community based, a valid UK driving licence and independent mean of transport is essential.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
