We are embarking on a huge program of global business transformation enabled by the implementation of a new global technology solution. The delivery and embedding of this technology solution across our highly successful and highly de-centralized business will change the way we work forever, enabling greater data insight, simplification of processes and ways of working and creating greater collaboration across the business.

The OCM Learning Manager will help to set up our new OCM Learning team. Initially focusing on our biggest TwO Transformation programme “Optimus” and delivering the Learning, also the longer term strategy for delivering OCM Learning. This is a global role and requires a self-starter with excellent stakeholder management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for design, set-up, implementation & run of our selected Digital Adoption Platform (Whatfix) and any other tools to support OCM delivery
  • Team management of OCM Learning Team that supports DAP and wider OCM learning strategy/plan
  • Responsible for learning end-to-end lifecycle requirements from needs analysis through to implementation / run for all OCM delivery
  • Responsible for OCM Learning measurement and metrics suite, with a strong focus on adoption
  • Work with the OCM Director on key vendor selection, based on the OCM Learning Strategy
  • Set the Learning strategy and roadmap beyond Optimus, including org design to support DAP and other tools required in the future
  • Key member of OCM Leadership team contributing strategically on how we implement OCM Learning and in day-to-day decision making

Reporting to OCM Director

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Strong experience as and L&D Manager, with specific experience in OCM
  • Experienced in the use of the platforms, systems, and software supporting L&D
  • Awareness of current best practices in L&D including using digital technologies to the best effect
  • Robust knowledge and innovative expertise of learning approaches, especially in the digital offering
  • Track record of managing stakeholders effectively
  • Comfortable working in an environment of change and ambiguity
  • Experienced in setting up, managing and leading a team
  • Experience within FMCG is desirable but not essential
  • Comfortable with a high degree of accountability with high visibility of personal contribution
  • A continuous learner, willing to explore, learn and grow both yourself and the service you offer
  • Happy to work on the detail and delivery as well as the design, creation and process improvements
  • Strong commercial and business awareness
  • Results and outcome driven– KPI focussed
  • Willing to operate in a complex, global environment
  • Flexible approach, ability to adapt to a variety of people, situations and demands
  • Self-starter, comfortable to challenge the status quo
