Steen Associates is an independent M&A advisory firm specialising in cross-border transactions in the aerospace, defence and industrials sectors. We advise international corporations, listed companies, owner-managed businesses and private equity investors, supporting them from strategy and deal origination through to completion. With offices in London and Frankfurt, we are known for our deep sector expertise, extensive network and relationship-driven approach.
The role
We are seeking an Off-Cycle Intern to join our London team on a full-time, on-site basis. You will work on live transactions and gain hands-on experience of the M&A process in a small, collaborative advisory firm.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Researching companies, markets and comparable transactions
- Supporting financial and commercial analysis
- Preparing client presentations and transaction materials
- Maintaining internal databases and managing project documentation
- Coordinating meetings and supporting communication with clients and other stakeholders
- Assisting with the day-to-day running of the London office
About you
- Currently studying for a degree in a relevant subject
- Basic financial or accounting literacy
- Clear written and verbal communication and strong interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and Word, and a willingness to learn internal systems
- A collaborative approach, discretion with confidential information and a high standard of professionalism
- Prior corporate experience is desirable
