About Opus Corporate Finance

Opus Corporate Finance is an independent advisory firm specialising in M&A and capital raising across the energy transition and sustainable economy sectors. We advise developers, corporates, and institutional investors on transactions spanning renewable energy, grid infrastructure, storage, E-mobility, circular economy, industrial decarbonisation and related areas.

Internship Opportunity

We operate as a lean, high-performing team, giving junior members meaningful exposure to live mandates from day one. We are offering a 6-month off-cycle internship position with an option to convert to a full-time analyst in our London office starting as soon as possible. As an off-cycle intern, you will be fully integrated into deal teams and gain direct exposure to live mandates across the energy transition and sustainable economy sectors.

During your time, you will:

  • Assist with financial modelling, valuation analysis, and investment assessment
  • Conduct research on companies, markets, and industry trends within the energy transition and sustainable economy sectors
  • Prepare investor materials including teasers, information memoranda, and management presentations
  • Support due diligence processes and assist with transaction execution
  • Attend internal and external meetings and gain exposure to client and investor interactions

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

  • Strong academic performance and a consistent track record of achievement
  • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a professional environment
  • High attention to detail and strong analytical capability
  • An interest in financial advisory through case competitions, student societies, internships, or other relevant experiences
  • Prior relevant experience in corporate finance, banking, consulting, or related fields is advantageous
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint

You will work closely with analysts, associates, and senior advisors in a flat team structure, receiving ongoing mentorship while developing both technical and commercial capabilities. Responsibility and exposure will increase as your skills develop.
