Office 365 Contractor | Mimecast, SharePoint & Teams Migration | Established London Financial Data Business
Day rate: £340
Location: London, hybrid - roughly two days a month on site
Contract length: 3 months
A legacy pile of file shares needs moving into Teams and SharePoint, and someone has to own that move end to end: the content, the site structure, and the identity and permissions that come with it. That is the heart of this contract. One of the team has been pulled onto another project, so they need a capable pair of hands to keep things moving and get this migration over the line.
You will be joining an established financial data business in London, working out of their central collaboration space alongside a small, hybrid IT team. This is a decent-level admin role, not service desk. You will be across the full Microsoft 365 stack, running business-as-usual for the estate while delivering the migration work in parallel. If your background is first-line support with no project delivery behind it, this one will not be for you.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Why Join / Projects:
The main project is moving legacy file shares into Teams and team sites, including all the identity and permissions that sit around it. It is a clean, self-contained piece of delivery, and you will own it. Around that you will keep BAU ticking over across the Microsoft estate, so no two days look quite the same. You will work with a small hybrid team who come in around two days a month, so the office time is light and the autonomy is high. Contractors move quickly here, so the process is short and the start is fast.
If it is your kind of contract, apply and I'll give you a call.
