We are seeking an experienced Office Administrator to provide high levels of customer service and administrative support to our team and visitors to our office in Swindon (SN5 8YF).

This is a full time permanent role, Monday - Friday (37 hours per week). The role is 100% office based and you must live within a commutable distance to the office.

Responsibilities

You will be expected to perform a variety of administrative tasks in addition to standard receptionist duties, including but not limited to:

  • Ensuring the reception area and post room are always clean and presentable.
  • Providing reception area cover at Swindon between the hours of 10am and 3pm
  • Answering WRc’s switchboard phone, directing calls, taking messages and dealing with enquiries efficiently
  • Providing cover for the site intercom and incoming vehicles.
  • Providing cover for incoming and outgoing deliveries.
  • Ownership of the Admin inbox, responsible for monitoring and clearing enquiries in a timely manner and following through to completion. Escalating where appropriate.
  • Daily management and ownership of the Knowledge Store inbox, responsible for monitoring and sending out orders made on WRc’s Knowledge store.

  • Demonstrable experience in a similar position is mandatory.
  • Reliable with a keen eye for detail.
  • Methodical and proactive, with outstanding organisation and time management skills.
  • Confident communicator.
  • Excellent MS Office package knowledge mandatory, comfort with other software is preferable.
