Role Description

The Office Administrator is a full-time, on-site role based in Podington. This position is responsible for managing day-to-day office operations, including handling incoming calls and emails, greeting visitors, and providing administrative support to instructors and training staff. The Office Administrator works closely with learners and partners to provide responsive customer service, accurate information about courses, and a professional front-of-house experience.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong Office Administration and Administrative Assistance skills, including managing records, scheduling, and general clerical support.
  • Candidates should possess effective Communication and Customer Service skills to interact professionally with learners, instructors, and external stakeholders.
  • Candidates should be comfortable using Office Equipment and basic office software (e.g., email, word processing, spreadsheets) to support daily operations.
  • Relevant experience in an office or training environment, preferably in construction or education, is beneficial.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize tasks in a busy office are required.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, maintaining a professional and inclusive workplace.
  • Basic numeracy for handling invoices and course fees; familiarity with simple financial or booking systems is an advantage.
