Office Administrator
We are a successful boutique recruitment consultancy looking for an organised, proactive and reliable Office Administrator to support the smooth running of our busy London office.
This is a varied role combining office management, recruitment administration, compliance and general business support. You will work closely with the Managing Director and wider team and take ownership of ensuring important administrative tasks are completed accurately and on time.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day running of the office, including supplies, post, suppliers and general administration.
- Provide administrative support to the Managing Director and recruitment team.
- Keep the office placement board and internal records accurate and up to date.
- Support new starter onboarding, including documentation, training arrangements and workstation assessments.
- Maintain employee, training and company records.
- Manage recruitment and placement administration.
- Monitor contractor compliance, including Right to Work, insurance, visas and expiring documentation.
- Manage ongoing compliance requirements, accreditations and company documentation.
- Maintain and update external compliance and supplier portals.
- Support regular compliance checks, audits and reporting.
- Maintain company policies, processes, templates and internal documents.
- Help organise company meetings, events, travel and team activities.
- Support website updates, marketing administration and award submissions.
- Manage recurring reminders and deadlines to ensure important tasks are not missed.
- Identify opportunities to improve and streamline administrative processes.
- Provide general business and operational support as required.

About You
You will be highly organised, dependable and comfortable taking ownership of a varied workload. You will have excellent attention to detail and be someone who naturally follows things through rather than waiting to be reminded.
You should be confident using Microsoft Office, excel and learning new systems, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
Previous experience in office administration, recruitment, compliance or professional services would be beneficial.
