Office administration - Glaze Aluminium Facades

Location: Liverpool City Centre
Employment type: Full-time, office-based

Company Description

Glaze Aluminium Facades is a specialist façade and building-envelope contractor delivering high-performance solutions across the UK. Our capabilities include curtain walling, architectural aluminium and steel window and door systems, rainscreen cladding, access solutions, and Steel Framing System (SFS) infill. We work across major commercial and residential developments, delivering façade packages valued at up to £15 million. Working in partnership with developers, main contractors, architects, and specialist suppliers, we provide end-to-end project support, from technical design and coordination through to manufacture and installation.

Role Description

We are seeking an organised and proactive Office Administrator to support the efficient day-to-day operation of our Liverpool office and wider project teams. The successful candidate will manage general office administration, maintain accurate records and organise documentation relating to ongoing façade and cladding projects. They will also communicate with clients, suppliers and internal team members, providing professional support and helping to ensure information is managed effectively.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing incoming correspondence, telephone calls and general enquiries
  • Maintaining accurate electronic and physical records
  • Organising project documentation and administrative files
  • Coordinating diaries, meetings and appointments
  • Supporting project and management teams with administrative tasks
  • Liaising professionally with clients, suppliers and other stakeholders
  • Completing data entry and preparing basic reports
  • Monitoring office supplies and arranging replenishment when required
  • Ensuring office equipment is available and functioning correctly
  • Following company procedures and supporting the efficient delivery of projects

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Strong office administration and organisational skills
  • Experience managing calendars, records and documentation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A professional and helpful approach to customer service
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Confidence using standard office equipment, including printers and scanners
  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
  • The ability to prioritise tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • A proactive, dependable and collaborative approach to work

Previous experience within the construction, façade or engineering sector would be advantageous but is not essential. A relevant administration or business qualification, or equivalent practical experience, would also be beneficial.
