Workplace Assistant – Crawley

Location: Crawley - Full time on-site
Hours: 37 per week
Reporting to: Workplace Team Leader
About the Team
AGS is the engine behind our firm - a collaborative group of specialists across Finance, Operations, HR, Marketing, IT, Risk, and Executive Leadership. Together, we support our legal teams and deliver exceptional client experiences.

The Role
You’ll create a seamless, welcoming experience for everyone who enters our offices. From hosting guests and supporting meetings to keeping client spaces organised and professional, you’ll ensure our workplace is polished, efficient, and ready for business.
What you will be doing:

Client & Visitor Experience
- Warmly welcome clients and colleagues, creating an exceptional first impression
- Follow visitor management processes and liaise with building reception as required
- Set up meeting rooms with layouts, technology, and refreshments
- Ensure client and collaborative spaces are tidy, fully stocked, and presentable

Workplace Operations
- Support office logistics, equipment setups, minor moves, and stock management
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping, recycling, and environmental practices
- Report maintenance, H&S, or facilities issues promptly

- Team & Business Support
- Manage meeting room and car park bookings
- Handle mail, couriers, printing, scanning, and document finishing
- Assist with events, inductions, and new starter onboarding
- Liaise with IT and other teams to ensure smooth-running meetings
- Travel to other offices to provide support as required

What you will need:
- Experience in a similar workplace or client-facing role (ideally in professional services)
- Confident using Microsoft Office and digital workplace tools
- Strong organisation skills and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and professionally
- Excellent communication skills and relationship-building ability
