The Office Administrator / Driver Support Administrator provides administrative support to ensure the smooth running of the office while assisting with driver administration and general office operations. This role requires excellent organisational skills, reliability, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Office Administration
- Perform general administrative duties, including filing, photocopying, scanning, and data entry.
- Answer telephone calls, respond to emails, and greet visitors professionally.
- Maintain office records, documents, and filing systems.
- Schedule meetings and maintain calendars as required.
- Update and maintain driver records and compliance paperwork.
- Assist with onboarding new drivers and adding driver details to company systems.
- Respond to driver queries and provide administrative support.
- Communicate with drivers regarding complaints, feedback, performance concerns, and rejection rates.
- Provide support and guidance to drivers to help improve service standards and performance.
- Provide out-of-hours support to drivers when required.
- Assist with managing staff rotas and scheduling when senior managers are on leave.
- Support management with day-to-day administrative tasks.

General Duties
- Support office operations and staff with ad hoc duties.
- Maintain confidentiality of company information.
- Follow company policies, procedures, and health and safety regulations.
- Perform other duties assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in office administration or a similar support role is preferred.
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Working Conditions
- Part-time position working Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm.
- Pay rate: £15.00 per hour.
- Primarily office-based, but national travel may be required occasionally to visit other sites
- May require availability outside normal working hours to support drivers when necessary.
- Occasional overtime may be required to meet operational needs.
